What You’ll Own
- Full-stack ownership (frontend + backend)
- Revenue-linked incrementality and attribution systems for ecommerce brands
- Browser orchestration and retrieval infrastructure
- AI agents and emerging commerce integrations
- Production reliability (queues, retries, observability)
- Engineering culture and architectural direction
- You will ship wherever leverage is highest.

Core Responsibilities
- Build AI-agent-powered product surfaces
- Develop and scale retrieval and orchestration systems
- Implement reliable async systems (queues, retries)
- Work directly with customers to ship high-impact features
- Design and evolve production-grade architecture
- Adapt product to emerging agentic commerce protocols
Requirements
- 5 years at a high-signal, fast-moving company (Series A/B or equivalent)
- Strong TypeScript and Node.js proficiency
- Full-stack capability (React, Next.js, Express)
- Production experience with AI agents or LLM APIs
- High agency and resilience in ambiguous environments
- Based in or willing to relocate to San Francisco
Strong Signals
- Experience building AI agent systems
- Background from a top-tier university (preferred, not mandatory)
- Startup speed experience (has operated in high-velocity environment)
Nice to Have
- Postgres, Redis, async job systems
- Browser automation and scraping
- Observability and production monitoring
