About the Role
We are hiring a Senior Data Engineer to act as a technical leader across client engagements.
This is not just a pipeline-builder role.
This is an architectural and consulting leadership role.
You will:
- Define end-to-end data architecture
- Lead cloud-based data platform implementations
- Optimize ETL/ELT workflows
- Enforce governance and security standards
- Mentor engineers
- Act as a client-facing technical authority
What You’ll Own
- Architecture design for scalable data pipelines
- Cloud-based data platform implementations (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code for data systems
- ETL/ELT workflow optimization
- Dimensional data modeling
- Data governance, security, and access controls
- Client-facing technical leadership
- Mentorship of data engineers
Must-Have Requirements
- 7+ years Data Engineering experience
- 5+ years working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Mastery of Python
- Advanced SQL proficiency
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Infrastructure as Code experience
- Expertise in ETL/ELT optimization
- Dimensional modeling expertise
- Strong understanding of data security and governance
- Consulting-level communication skills
Nice to Have
- Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric
- Multi-cloud architecture experience
- TypeScript / JavaScript / Java exposure
- Experience leading distributed teams
