We are looking for an experienced Ivanti DSM Engineer to support a long-term infrastructure upgrade project for germn client. This is a senior, expert-level role focused on system upgrades, stability, and integration testing within a very large enterprise environment.

Workload: ~30 person-days over 9 months (approx. once per week)

Key Responsibilities
Create and validate SQL backups of existing Ivanti DSM configurations
Perform system upgrade to Windows Server 2025
Upgrade the Ivanti DSM SQL database and DSM web interface
Test and validate the SOAP interface with all connected systems
Analyze and troubleshoot issues during and after upgrades
Execute the production update with a maximum downtime of 1 day
Ensure system stability, data integrity, and documentation throughout the process

Requirements
7+ years of hands-on experience with Ivanti DSM in large enterprise environments
Proven track record working with infrastructures exceeding 100,000 managed devices
Strong experience with:
Windows Server upgrades
SQL database upgrades and backups
SOAP interfaces and system integrations
Ability to work independently in mission-critical environments
Native-level German (C2) – required for direct client communication and documentation

Nice to Have
Experience with large public-sector or transportation organizations
Prior involvement in zero- or low-downtime production upgrades
Strong documentation and change-management discipline
